All Hallows Read: Read a Scary Book this Halloween

All Hallows Read was started by author Neil Gaiman (author of The Graveyard Book, Violent Cases, Coraline, and many more) in 2010 as an idea to start a literary Halloween tradition of giving someone a scary book.  We @khcpl have decided to take this idea to another level and include reading a scary book and recommending a scary book to your friends.

Too scared to pick out a book? Deciding on which book to pick could possibly be more daunting than actually reading the book. Listed below are a few staff recommendations along with the recommended reading level.
